Perfect for beginners The unpressurised HEAD STAGE 2 ORANGE is the perfect ball for children between 8 and 9 who are preparing for the transition to the bigger field. It is softer, bigger and 50% slower than a normal tennis ball. This makes it much easier to hit and increases reaction time. Thanks to its two-coloured felt (orange and yellow), it is also easier for children to see. Developed together with coaches and children, the STAGE 2 ORANGE is perfect for the medium-sized ITF court (18 m x 5.6-8.23 m). The ball is part of HEAD’s Stage Programme, a unique training programme that helps young players learn the sport the right way from the start. The programme was developed as part of the “Tennis Play and Stay!” Campaign of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
